 Sami Lukis

Sami Lukis has established herself as one of Australia’s most accomplished and versatile media personalities, notching up a successful career spanning more than 20 years, as a Television Presenter, Radio Host, Author, Podcaster, Journalist, Red Carpet Reporter, Professional MC, Columnist and Media Commentator.

Sami is a regular contributor to Australia’s leading women’s lifestyle network, 9Honey, and she appears regularly on The Morning Show on Channel 7.  Sami’s  first book ‘Romantically Challenged’ was published through Penguin Random House in 2018.  She also launched a spin-off podcast ‘Romantically Challenged’, which was nominated for Best Original Podcast at the 2019 Australian Commercial Radio Awards. Sami is also the host and producer of the successful ‘And Just Like That… They’re Back‘ podcast, which has been downloaded in more than 100 countries.

Sami is a passionate traveller and in 2011, she created her own travel business, hosting unique getaways for women to New York.  She also writes regular stories about her travel adventures for various magazines and websites.

Sami has a Bachelor of Business Communication (with Distinction) from the Queensland University of Technology, with majors in Journalism and Film & Television Studies.  Upon Graduation, Sami was awarded the Federation of Radio Broadcasters Prize for the most outstanding student in broadcast journalism.

Sami has worked as an Australian ambassador for L’Occitane, Leona Edmiston and The Hidden Sea Wines and appeared in sales campaigns for Ford, Bankwest, Optimal Skincare, Messina Clothing and Comfortis (alongside her much loved furchild Lolli).

Sami is actively involved in a number of charities.  She is the proud Patron for Kids Rehab at The Children’s Hospital at Westmead and an Ambassador for the National Breast Cancer Foundation.  In 2015 Sami was the face of the REDFEB campaign for Heart Research Australia.  In 2010 Sami was the face of the Pink Ribbon Breakfast campaign for the NBCF.  She also travelled to Morocco in 2010 as the Australian Ambassador for WSPA at the International Whaling Convention.  Sami has also hosted and supported events for the RBWH, The Steve Irwin Wildlife Foundation, The McGrath Foundation, Teal Wings of Hope, Variety, Earth Hour and Red Nose Day.
